Creative Articulations Process
CAP Mentoring Group (limited spaces)
Six once-a-month online gatherings
Saturdays, 10.30-12.00 (UK TIME)
Oct 2022- March 2023
Vida Midgelow and Jane Bacon invite practitioners with some experience of the Creative Articulations Process (CAP) to join a creative mentoring group. This group is suitable for those that are also following the online ‘ground form’ series and/or have previously attended CAP workshops.
Through this mentoring group, Vida and Jane will support you to deepen your own practice and enrich your embodied understanding of CAP in its expanded form. We will offer creative tasks and a framework for sharing as you work peer-to-peer to support each other through the six facets of CAP – from Opening to Outwarding.
In order to make best use of this mentoring group you will need to be working on/curious about something particular. It might be that you are starting a new creative work or perhaps you are curious about new ways of working with known material, or have questions about ways to become more articulate in your current practice, or are experiencing a stuckness that manifests in your life/research/practice.
Participants will be offered tasks to undertake in and between the monthly gatherings and asked to share their practice documentation with the peer group as the basis for discussion and creative and attentional reflections.
What will I need?
Access to zoom and a stable internet connection
Space in which to move
A mixed selection of paper, pens and pencils
How do I apply for the mentoring group?
Deadline – Monday 5th Sept
Send an email to: choreographiclab22@gmail.com and tell us something about yourself, your experience of CAP and what practice you plan to be working on from Oct 2022 – April 2023.
